AMP Research constructs the PowerStep line from premium materials. Die-cast aluminum boards deliver high strength at low weight. Stainless-steel hinge pins and hardware provide durability and corrosion resistance. A military-grade PTFE coating on the step surface protects the alloy from oxidation and abrasion while presenting a discreet black finish.

The boards simplify entry and exit on tall vehicles. Extra-wide, six-inch, non-slip treads maintain traction in adverse weather. Integrated low-profile LED courtesy lights illuminate the step and adjacent area in low-visibility conditions. In addition, PowerStep deploys substantially lower than conventional fixed running boards, offering a more usable step height.

Each set includes a vehicle-specific mounting kit, complete instructions, and, where applicable, a plug-and-play OBD-II module. The kit supplies all required brackets, hardware, wiring accessories, and documentation.
